My New Diet Kick
I recently decided that I want to lose some weight so I've changed my eating habits. I've cut out meat almost entirely except for the rare occasion that I find myself nibbling on some. I've also cut out the grains so pasta and breads are out. In addition to that, I've also cut out dairy. It's been hard but I keep reminding myself of what I want to achieve. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love pasta and potatoes so it's been really hard.
So what have I been eating? Lots and lots of veggies and fruits. I've also been drinking a lot of water. I have a huge love for Diet Coke so instead of denying myself Diet Coke, I've limited myself to one Diet Coke a day. That part hasn't been hard because I take sips off of it throughout the day.
However, my failure is my lack of exercise. I wake up every morning and think "Okay, I'll exercise in a few minutes". Of course, I always manage to fail. This morning, I did make it a little bit further on the exercise bit. I turned on the video and watched them exercise. Does that count as making some progress even though I failed to get up and work out? How do you get motivated to workout?
Maybe in the morning, I can get inspired to enough to actually get up and workout!
